Urban Villa Garden

This urban villa garden design is centered around the historic pavilion by Jože Plečnik, treating the architecture as the heart of the landscape. The planting design was developed with restraint and sensitivity, using soft layers of greenery to subtly frame and enhance the pavilion’s character without overpowering its presence. The project also included the design of a new terrace space featuring a warm timber pergola, created as an inviting extension of the home for outdoor dining and relaxation. Lush planting surrounds the terrace, adding privacy, texture, and a softer transition between architecture and garden. Together, these elements create a refined urban garden where heritage, contemporary outdoor living, and thoughtful landscape design exist in quiet balance.
